This bespoke Inverroche Gin distillery experience — tailored to delight your senses and expand your knowledge — includes an opportunity to blend a bottle of custom gin to take home. Unwind in style during a luxurious two-night stay at Protea Hotel George King George, nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains overlooking the George Golf Course.

As the pioneer of South African craft gin, Inverroche Distillery was founded by Lorna Scott and her family in 2011. What started as a passion project around their kitchen table has grown into a world-renowned brand, one that has pioneered the art of infusing fynbos into gin. We welcome you to Inverroche Distillery — the original Scott family home — and the place where every bottle of Inverroche Gin is still lovingly hand-crafted.

Experience includes:

• Two-night stay in a Deluxe Room facing George Golf Course at Protea Hotel George King George, checking in Thursday 26 June and checking out Saturday 28 June
• Thursday 26 June

  • Roundtrip transportation between the hotel and Inverroche Distillery Still Bay Western Cape
  • 11:00 – Gin Academy masterclass: Blend a 500ml bottle of your own custom gin to take home
  • 12:00 – Guided tour of the Inverroche Range, including a gin tasting led by an expert ambassador, where you’ll discover unique flavor profiles and fynbos botanicals
  • 13:00 – Tour of our still room plus a meet-and-greet with our Master Distiller
  • 14:00 – Light lunch: Savor a local Stilbaai platter for two (2) in our lush Gin Garden, paired with Inverroche Gin Perfect Serve cocktails as a delectable culmination of your Inverroche experience
  • 15:00 – Return to the hotel
